1 cup almond milk1 heaping tsp. Organic Turmeric½ - 1 tsp. Ground cinnamon⅛ tsp. Ground pepper1 Tbsp. butter from grass fed cows4 thin slices of fresh ginger1 Tbsp. honeyDirections:Place the almond milk in a saucepan along with the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and pepper. Heat over medium low heat until the spices are dissolved about 5 minutes.Pour the milk through a strainer into a cup. Add the butter and stir to combine. Once the milk has cooled a bit then add the honey, stir and enjoy!

I am posting this today because this TalkBack/Voice Assistant sometimes gets accidentially turned on and it is very difficult to get turned off again. This has happened to me several times and I just spent the last two hours trying to fix it. This is very good to know how to unclock this voice assistant because it almost disables your phone and at the very least, it is extremely annoying. One time I was on a bus and it kept telling me what time it was every minute and when I turned off the phone, it automatically turned on again!

Breathing exercises are a core component of practices like meditation, martial arts, and yoga, but they can also be scattered into a busy schedule. Lynne Everatt is the co-author of The 5-Minute Recharge, a book that is specifically designed to help people attain emotional wellness in the workplace. Everatt endorses a technique called “box breathing” — a Navy SEAL tactic that is helpful in triggering relaxation intense situations.
Box breathing can be thought of as the opposite of a panic attack. It can also be performed discreetly. What you need to do is sit upright, with your feet flat on the floor. After slowly exhaling, you slowly inhale through your nose to the count of four. Your lungs fill with air while you hold your breath for another slow count of four. Then you exhale through your mouth for four more beats, and finally, hold your breath one more time for four counts before repeating the process.

What is the Lymphatic System and what is the purpose of this breathing exercise?
By breathing we stimulate the flow of the lymph, and through deep breathing, we encourage a larger flow of the cleansing lymph fluid. Once we breathe, the lymph ducts send the lymph into our blood flow, then onto the liver where it metabolizes and then onto the kidneys where toxins are filtered.
The lymphatic system plays a key role in the immune system, fluid balance, and absorption of fats and fat-soluble nutrients.
The lymphatic system acts as a one-way drainage system transporting fluid from body tissues into the blood circulation and contains white blood cells called lymphocytes, which fight infection and gets rid of waste products produced by cells.
Lymph nodes
Lymph nodes are found throughout the body, but mainly in the neck, armpits, groin, and tummy (abdomen). They filter and break down bacteria (germs) or other harmful cells from the lymph fluid
The lymph nodes swell in response to infection, due to a build-up of lymph fluid, bacteria, or other organisms and immune system cells.
We recommend this exercise daily and ideally twice a day to get the Lymph system moving, exercise and rebounding are also great ways to get the lymph system moving.
