In this video, we’re going to talk about what to do at the first sign of dementia.

What are the first signs of dementia? They can be:
1. A loss of spatial navigation (like forgetting where you parked your car)
2. Difficulty finding the right words
3. Confusion
4. Repeating yourself

Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease are situations where your neurons cannot get fuel anymore—specifically glucose. This can happen if you have insulin resistance.

If you have ketones and glucose in your blood at the same time, your brain will prefer ketones and use them first. Ketones are the byproduct of fat burning. Rarely does anyone run their body on ketones.

The first thing you want to do if you are experiencing dementia symptoms is to start feeding your brain ketones. This will help bypass the degraded glucose absorption mechanism that is starving your brain of fuel and begin to feed the neurons directly.


There are three ways you can increase your ketones:
1. Lower your carbs
2. Do intermittent fasting
3. Supply your body with healthy fats, like MCT oil and fatty fish

DHA, zinc, and vitamin B1 are other important nutrients for supporting a healthy brain. Exercise and sleep are also vital to healthy brain function.

Let’s talk about why it’s so difficult for women to lose belly fat after menopause—and what to do about this issue. When a woman goes through menopause, their ovaries no longer produce or release eggs. This big change leads to a cascade of other changes. The ovaries also make hormones, which means a woman in menopause will have lower hormone levels. However, when this happens, the adrenal glands are supposed to act as the backup system for the ovaries. The adrenal glands make all of the hormones that the ovaries make. If the adrenal glands are strong and stable when a woman is going into menopause, they may experience fewer symptoms. It’s not normal to experience symptoms of menopause unless there’s a problem with the adrenal glands. Another part of the body we need to focus on is the parasympathetic nervous system. The parasympathetic nervous system is the recovery system of the body. It influences your sleep and ability to recover. Fat burning occurs in the recovery phase. Exercising your parasympathetic nervous system will help reduce cortisol, support sleep, and get rid of belly fat. In order to strengthen your parasympathetic nervous system, it’s crucial to increase the time you rest in between your reps and sets of exercise, as well as the days of exercise. You have to make sure you don’t overtrain and give your body a chance to completely recover and reset. How to lose belly fat after menopause:1. Do high-intensity exercises with longer rest periods2. Don’t overtrain 3. Don’t train over soreness 4. Focus on getting more sleep 5. Take advantage of chiropractic care, massage therapy, or physical therapy 6. Consume omega-3 fatty acids 7. Take DHEA8. Data from multiple studies show a rare risk for myocarditis and/or pericarditis following receipt of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. These rare cases of myocarditis or pericarditis have occurred most frequently in adolescent and young adult males, ages 16 years and older, within 7 days after receiving the second dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna). There has not been a similar reporting pattern observed after receipt of the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine (Johnson & Johnson).CDC continues to recommend COVID-19 vaccination for everyone 6 months of age and older. Related chlorotriazine herbicides include simazine, propazine, and cyanazine, all which act by inhibiting plant photosynthesis. Atrazine is applied pre- and post-emergence to agricultural land for crops such as corn and sorghum. It is also used as a non-selective herbicide. Atrazine was first registered as an herbicide in 1958. More than 70 million pounds have been applied annually in recent years, with about 75% of corn cropland receiving treatment. Atrazine has limited water solubility and is not tightly bound to soil, but is leachable in to ground and surface waters. In regions where atrazine is used, it is one of the more commonly detected pesticides in surface and ground waters (USGS, 2007). In soils, atrazine is slowly degraded to dealkylated products, which have half-lives of several months. Bacteria and plants can metabolize atrazine to hydroxyatrazine. Atrazine does not bioaccumulate. It has little toxicity in birds and moderate toxicity in some fish and aquatic invertebrates. Atrazine may alter the sexual development of frogs at environmental levels (Gammon et al., 2005; Hayes et al., 2002; U.S.EPA, 2003a).
