Although all of Michael Jackson's music videos are referred to as short films, the short films for Off the Wall, Michael's first solo album for Epic Records, are more classic "music videos," as they are performance clips rather than scripted stories. Michael's short film for "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" was the first of the three short films produced for recordings from that album. The single reached No. 1 in eight countries in 1979, topping Billboard's Hot 100, Hot Soul Singles and Hot Disco Singles charts as well as the Cash Box Top 100.
"Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on November 29, 1979, and Platinum on February 14, 1989. The song won Michael his first solo Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in 1980, as well as his first American Music Award for Favorite Single (Soul/R&B). "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" was ranked No. 9 on the 100 Best Songs of the '70s by NME and No. 16 on VH1's list of 100 Greatest Dance Songs.
"That song means a lot to me because it was the first song I wrote as a whole," Michael wrote in his 1988 memoir Moonwalk. "'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' was my first big chance, and it went straight to Number One. It was the song that won me my first Grammy. Quincy had the confidence in me to encourage me to go into the studio by myself, which I appreciated."
The short film featured Michael in performance against a dazzling background of geometric shapes and patterns. Wearing a tuxedo similar to his outfit on the Off the Wall album cover, Jackson sings and dances to the song, at one point even dancing with two other clones of himself, achieved through the magic of special effects.

Michael Jackson's short film for "Smooth Criminal" was the sixth of nine short films produced for recordings from Bad, one of the best selling albums of all time. The "Smooth Criminal" single hit No. 1 in Spain and The Netherlands and reached the Top 10 in the UnitedStates, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland and Switzerland. In the United States, "Smooth Criminal" reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100-the sixth single from Bad to do so-as well as Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles charts.
In addition to being a standalone short film, "Smooth Criminal" became the centerpiece of Michael's most ambitious film project at the time, Moonwalker, a feature-length film that was released theatrically in various countries outside of the United States. In the "Smooth Criminal" portion of the film, Michael and his friends face off against the notorious drug lord Mr. Big (Joe Pesci) and attempt to foil his plot to get the children of the world hooked on drugs-but of course, in the end, Michael defeats the villain.
The musical portion of "Smooth Criminal" takes place in the magical "Club '30s," where Michael instructed his friends to meet him. While Katie (Kellie Parker), Zeke (Brandon Adams) and Sean (Sean Lennon) find the club to belong abandoned, Club '30s springs to life when Michael shows up, wearing a blue and white pinstripe suit and fedora.
As the kids watch through the window, Michael flips a coin into the jukebox and leads the club patrons through a dazzling performance to "Smooth Criminal." Here, Michael shows off updated versions of his signature dance moves. He also debuts one of his most iconic dance moves: the "anti-gravity lean," a seemingly impossible move.

(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty" is a song recorded and released in 1976 by KC and the Sunshine Band for the album Part 3. The song became their third number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as their third number-one on the Hot Soul Singles chart.[1] The song was met with a degree of controversy, since the lyrics were interpreted or likely speculated by many as having sexual connotations. According to KC, it had a lot more meaning and depth. During his performance he would witness the entire crowd having a good time except for some minority. The song inspired people to "get off their can and get out there and do it".[2] The B-side of Shake Your Booty was "Boogie Shoes", which later became a hit on its own when it appeared on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack in 1977.
The chorus consists of the title expression with shake appearing eight times.

We head to the boat and check on the salon sole install/replacement progress
We walk to the boat and check out what has been done. Every day little things are happening and the sole is getting close to being finished. We have new and used parts getting installed on the boat and we debate if trash is being installed or removed. Mike was right, it’s on film.
It's been over 4 months since we started our health treatments and Brittany gives an update on both our progress with our health, weight loss, and urine color, you don’t want to miss this!
After checking out the boat and seeing what a great job Terry is doing on the salon cabin sole, and Small Change is doing on the rest of the boat, we took some time to discuss where the repairs were currently at, and what else it needed, in order to take ownership. There is still plenty of work to be done on our list, but we are starting to get a feel for what this boat will be like when it’s ours.
Feeling the boat moving on the water is amazing. We had a consistent breeze in the marina that day and you can see how much motion and movement there is on a boat… it is a very cool feeling. We also had time to make adventure plans for the next day… we’ve been staring at it ever time we are at the beach, Pigeon Point Island.
We also find evidence… proof that you can be in two places at one time… That’s how you get things done!
The entry fee to the park was 20 EC, or about $8 U.S. dollars for adults and 8 EC or about $3 U.S. dollars. You may be thinking, did you try to get in at the child price… obviously yes, that’s how we know how much a child’s admission is. Mike asked for 1 adult and 1 adult that acts like a child, then got a fun look and a laugh by the 2 ladies working at the entrance… It’s fun to see people’s reactions when you say really off the wall things and can tell you if people are up for a little fun. These ladies definitely were!
The walk from our house to Pigeon Point is about 2.5 miles and took about 45 minutes. This was the farthest place out of town we walked to and got to see more of Rodney Bay. Walking is a great way to get a feel for any new place and you get to see a ton of local activities you would never see.
St. Lucia created the causeway to Pigeon Point in 1971… 50 years ago. The causeway is an amazing piece of land and example of great foresight by the people of Saint Lucia. When we walked along it, I thought it was a natural part of the island… it is well worth the effort of the 2 and half mile walk.
We explored the island and climbed the peaks to the lookouts. The trails were easy to follow, but steep in some places. The views are amazing! We took in 360 degrees of beauty and were on the lookout for any treasures we could find. There is still an armory building that housed the munitions for the canons and soldiers on one of the peaks. It was a tight fit to get inside but was fun to explore. Just under the stairs, there was a room that was pitch black inside, that housed waaaaaaay more ammunition than the building looks like it holds. If we didn’t explore, this is something that could have been easily missed. Bring a flashlight!
We explore Fort Rodney which was built in 1778 and love the character and craftmanship of the structure. It is amazing to see the remains of a 240+ year old building. It’s seen better days, but definitely a strong structure for sure. We also tested out the hyperlapse feature on our camera… we have no idea how to use it, but figured we’d give it a shot! We were nearly alone throughout the day to adventure through park the entire time, so we had a little fun!
On the way back from Pigeon Point, there were wild horses just outside the park… we are not too afraid of a horse in the wild, we are not anything they want, but it was a little unnerving to see these horses just running around the road and through the brush, kind of like a stray dog… they were there, people knew they were there, and they just were left to do their thing… this island has the feeling of, anything goes, and we love it!
On the walk back from Pigeon Island we decided to make the next day, another beach day. On the walk to the local’s beach, Mike discovered an Island Grasshopper, how do we know it was a grasshopper… that’s what the guys on the island told us. It was big! It was found on the doorway to one of the banks and we thought it was a great security measure, we didn’t go near it!
Although it was a gloomy day at the beach, we tucked under our umbrella and enjoyed the view of the Pigeon Point. The more we see of Rodney Bay, the more we want to explore Saint Lucia.

The change of season
Reveal swisdom most have forgotten
Or refuse to listen
That reflects the cycle of life
While we can to refuse listen
Our ancestors had no choice
Life was different
More difficult
Life and death were tied

Winter is a time of rest and reflection
The silence is reinforced by the cold and quiet
With a problem always comes a choice
Devote time and energy to fix

Each choice has some benefits
Sometimes no action is the best solution
It gives us time to think or reflect
On people, habits, actions you possess
Fail to serve your highest good
Letting go can be hard
Take a cue from Mother Nature
Look to trees for one answer
Magnificent elms, maples, oaks and sycamores
Of the northern forests
Let go of leaves of every size and shape
They don’t stress and strain
For they possess the wisdom
And knowledge that new leaves
Will return and grow
When the time is right
Fall begins the process
With the fall color show
The dropping leaves
Generates a productive and rich
Soil for everything around
A gift of life to themselves
Creatures great and small
As nature takes the gift to recycle
Into something with great splendor
Everyone has stuff to dispose, drop or

It can be hard because ego likes
To be in charge
Ego likes the predictability and pattern
This means fear can be put in
Charge of any change
And the not so good stuff gets to stay
Let ego know
You’re aware of its plan
There are many steps that you can take
First close your eyes
Take several deep breathes
Think about what doesn’t serve
Bid it farewell
See it in your mind’s eyes fly away
Feeling some discomfort or pain

Take a moment to relax
Realize its past and gone

Allows you to move on
Let go of the desire to force

Will work just fine
Read what you’ve written aloud
Feel the full impact and intensity
Of what you wrote
After each strip of paper is read aloud
Place into the flame and say
“I’m giving this back to the universe
I’ve learned the lessons
Gained precious experience
But now send these energies
Back to the
Universe with love
So that they can be dispersed
As the universe deems fit
